Kim La Rue Biography

Kim is not only Jessica Richardson’s business partner; she’s also her mother. Kim is a professional organizer, author of the Money Maniac Workbook, and author of both websites, MoneyManiac.com and CouponForACause.com. 

Kim has arisen from a diversely colorful background filled with both tragedy and healing. Out of the ashes of her life comes hope for others who have struggled with a murdered spouse, other tragic and untimely family deaths, divorce, depression, and poverty.

Prior to 2008 Kim was living in Florida and working for a non-profit as a pregnancy center director. She loved her life in Florida and loved helping young women and men in crisis pregnancy. Her work for non-profits has given her the knowledge and motivation to help other non-profits raise money and donations. But in 2008 she answered a higher calling, sold everything and moved to Oregon to be closer to her oldest daughter, Jessica and her growing family.

As a professional organizer Kim has helped individuals and businesses de-clutter and organize their homes and offices. She loves organizing ‘things’ but is best known as an efficiency expert, streamlining tasking systems and information. She has authored many articles and is a dynamic public speaker. She spoke as the professional organizer and domestic diva, “Mama Divine” at women’s events throughout Florida. Kim motivates listeners to de-clutter their heart and home by living in their current life and not in the ashes of their past.

Kim presently works behind the scenes as The Money Maniac’s right-hand mom …. and loves doing it!
